Our mission

I Want Freedom Charity exists to help women and girls escape forced, arranged, and abusive marriages—and to rebuild their lives with safety, dignity, and real options.

We do this by:

• supporting immediate pathways to safety and stability

• expanding access to education, skills, and mentorship

• providing practical resources that help survivors become financially independent

• amplifying survivor voices to drive awareness and change

This mission is urgent, global, and deeply human. We are building it with integrity and intention—and we’re looking for committed leaders who want to help turn compassion into measurable impact. Our vision

We envision a world where no girl is ever traded for tradition, silenced by fear, or forced to call abuse “marriage.” A world where every girl and woman has the right—and the resources—to choose her future.

Our long-term vision is to build a trusted global movement that:

• strengthens protection and education pathways for at-risk girls

• supports survivors with long-term independence tools

• connects aligned partners across countries and communities

• influences systems so freedom becomes the standard, not the exception

We are working hard to build this—thoughtfully and responsibly—but we cannot build it alone. That is why we are forming our Global Advisory Council: to bring together respected voices, experts, advocates, and supporters who believe freedom is a human right and want to help shape lasting change.

Advisors provide strategic guidance, credibility, and connections. Advisory participation can be light and flexible (monthly or quarterly), and is designed to respect your time.
